I been using New Albany Taxi about twice a month for several years. I have always found their service to be prompt and courteous. After trying several other services in the area, New Albany Taxi is the most dependable.

I took this taxi from the bus station to my job site in the early afternoon. When I came out of the station the driver was polite and asked me if I need a ride. I had to put my own bags in the taxi on the seat next to me. I told him where I was headed and he made the comment that he taking me to my job was a waste of time and he didn't know how to charge me for such as short distance. He commented that I should walk because it was only two blocks. (I usually did walk but I was short of breath from a bad cold at that time and didn't think I could make it to my job site.) I told him I would give him five dollars for the two block ride and under his breath he said "this is stupid" however he did take me there. On the ride I mentioned that I thought the taxi was a service for those who needed a ride and he said no it's about money, gas prices are hurting his business. I was very disappointed with this driver. I called and talked to the manager where he worked and he blew me off also. Said he couldn't do anything because I didn't get the cab number or the drivers name. I will never use this taxi again and I will let everyone I know about the terrible service.
